The Public Works and Engineering Department has many ongoing projects in addition to any emergency repairs or other unforeseen occurrences.

🚧 W. Pipeline Road Closure 🚧

All lanes from Lee Drive to Forest Ridge will be closed to through traffic on Thursday, February 12, through Saturday, February 14, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Below is the map for the traffic detour.

Flag crews will be in place along the closure to allow residents to exit only in the westbound direction. Residents must re-enter from the same west end.

Morrisdale Estates residents are encouraged to enter and exit Morrisdale Estates via Woodvine Drive to El Camino Real.

🚧 Ongoing Projects 🚧

  • FY2019 Street Reconstruction of West Pipeline Road:  

    The final phase of construction, rebuilding the northern lanes from Arwine Cemetery to Forest Ridge, is underway. Paving began in early February.

  • FY2023 Wastewater Replacement Project: 

    The project is substantially complete. Walk throughs between City staff and the Contractor have been completed and punch list work is near completion. 

  • 50th Year CDBG Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project: 

    Construction is progressing for the rehabilitation of the sanitary sewer lines in the following locations:

    • Along Fair Oaks Blvd. from Lone Oak Circle to Ash Lane

    • Between 302 – 413 Shelmar Drive

    • Along Kensinger Court

    Project is near completion. Final clean-up is underway.
