🚧 Road Closure Notification 🚧

Oncor will have the SH183/Airport Frwy. Westbound Frontage Road closed from 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 until 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 to replace utility poles. Detours will be established for motorists to access N. Main Street northbound and southbound. Vehicles will be directed to turn right on Carter Drive and exit the residential area via E. Fuller Dr.

🚧 Road Project Notification 🚧

A contractor for Oncor, 3H Traffic Underground, will be conducting a project to install high voltage power lines to the previously installed utility poles September 2, 2026. This is referred to as a “Slow Roll” and will involve the closure of various lanes across SH183/Airport Frwy. as needed. Signage will be in place to notify motorists of the lane closures and 3H Traffic Underground will have personnel on site during this operation.

🚧 Road Resurfacing of All Lanes on SH 10 🚧

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will be performing a road resurfacing project of all lanes on State Highway 10 from Westpark Way to State Highway 183. The project will begin on or around June 23, 2026, and is expected to last approximately 80 days. Lane closures will occur between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on days when construction activity takes place.

🚧 Ongoing Projects 🚧

• FY2019 Street Reconstruction of West Pipeline Road:  
  
  The Contractor continues to work in specific areas on pending items. Be aware that lane closures will occur as needed to complete the remaining infrastructure with a majority of the work being between Forest Ridge and the western terminus of the project.
  
  
• Oakwood Terrace North Phases I & II Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project
  
  Construction began on June 1st.  The project includes the following location:
  
  
  1. Between Mary Drive and Marlene Drive from Eastcliff Drive to Marlene Drive
     
     
  2. 607-805 Commerce Street
  
  Contractor will need access to backyard easements for construction. Residents in the immediate area of the work should have received notices with details and contact information for the Contractor and the City staff. The project is progressing on schedule.
