Along this park's three-mile nature trail are signs identifying the trees and other plant life, which adds a touch of environmental education to your athletic endeavors. Take a stroll down the paths that connect to the Preserve at McCormick Park on the west and you'll pass an in-ground tree farm. If you're looking for more athletic opportunities, this park also boasts a practice softball field and seven soccer fields.

Looking for some entertainment? Euless hosts outdoor events at the Leon Hogg Amphitheater. Are you looking to host your own event? The amphitheater and its pavilion are available for rent, and another pavilion is available a short walk to the southeast.

The City of Euless welcomes leashed dogs in all of its parks, but owners of well-mannered canines can take advantage of the fenced Dog Park where unleashed dogs can have more room to run and play.

The land for this park was earmarked after a public hearing concerning the use of land located in the flood plain of Bear Creek in 1988. It was deeded to the city in August 1989. It was finished and dedicated on March 25, 1991 with the help of grant money.
