General Topics

  • Is there a sauna or hot tub?

    No.

  • What is the pool temperature?

    It is 85 degrees F.

  • How deep is the pool?

    It's 3.5 feet at the shallowest and 4.5 feet at the deepest.

  • What is the minimum age for swimmers without a chaperone?

    You must be at least 12 to swim without a parent present.

  • Is there a weight restriction on the slide?

    Yes. It's 250 pounds.

  • How tall do you need to be to go on the slide?

    You must be 48 inches tall and able to swim out of the catch pool unassisted and without a life jacket.

  • Are there showers on site?

    No.

  • How much is a locker?

    Lockers are free and for daily use only. You must give your ID to receive a lock.

  • Can you store my cake/food for me?

    No.

  • Can I bring in outside food?

    Yes.

  • Do you offer a military, senior or AARP discount?

    No. We only have resident and non-resident rates.

  • What items are prohibited?

    Tobacco, e-cigarettes, glass, alcohol and sharp objects are prohibited.

  • May I grill onsite?

    No.

  • May I bring a cooler?

    Yes, but it will be checked at the front for prohibited items.

  • I love water guns, may I use them at the pool?

    No. Water guns are not allowed at either the Natatorium or the Aquatics Park.

  • May I use a scuba mask?

    No. You must use goggles that do not cover your nose.

  • May I use a snorkel or fins?

    No. Snorkels are never allowed and fins are only allowed for adults during adult lap swim.

  • May I bring noodles and/or similar flotation devices?

    No. Only USCG flotation devices are allowed.

  • May I bring my own lifejacket?

    Yes, but it must be US Coast Guard approved.

  • May I borrow a lifejacket?

    Absolutely! Please see a lifeguard to be fitted for the correct size. They are free.

  • How much are classes?

    $60

  • What is the class student to teacher ratio?

    Preschool classes and Level 1 - 1:4
    Level 2 - 1:5
    Level 3 - 1:6
    Level 4 - 1-6
    Drill - 1:10
    Adult - 1:6

  • Who teaches your classes?

    Certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors teach the classes.

  • What types of classes do you have?

    Parent & Tot, Preschool, ARC levels 1-4, Swim Team Prep and Adult.

  • What level do I put my child in?

    Talk to an Aquatic team member who can recommend the proper level.

  • Are there places for me to watch my child in LTS?

    Yes, we have benches around the deck.

  • What is your make up policy?

    No personal absences are made up, only cancellations related to weather or pool reasons on our end.

  • How many lessons are in a session?

    There are eight lessons. However, classes are considered taught after six classes (due to weather).

  • What days are lessons?

    Swimming lessons are every Monday and Wednesday night.

  • What does LTS stand for?

Lap Swim

  • May I do starts off the deck?

    No, we do not allow any head first entry.

  • How do I share lanes?

    You can circle swim, or you can split lanes when the pool is not full.

  • How big is the pool?

    It is three lanes wide by 18 meters long.

  • What is the age requirement for lap swim?

    You must be at least 15 years-old. We check ID's.
