Fire Departments do more than house firefighters and equipment. They are Safe Places for youth in trouble or for newborn babies. The Euless Fire Department has partnered with Project Safe Place, ACH Family Services and the Alliance for Children to provide refuge for anyone who may need help.
Any young person who is lost, scared, abused, threatened or in any unsafe situation may visit any Euless Fire Department to ask for help. If a youth in crisis comes to one of our locations, we can connect that individual with a Safe Place Coordinator who can assist over the phone or in person to find emergency shelter, reunite with family or make a safety plan. Many youth who run away from home are victims of abuse and many youth on the street end up being abused and exploited. Being a Safe Place site is one way to help end the cycle.
Euless' Safe Place locations are:
- Fire Station #1, 201 E. Ash Lane
- Fire Station #2, 1515 Westpark Way
- Fire Station #3, 202 S. Main Street
TXT 4 HELP
TXT 4 HELP is a 24-hour text-for-support service for youth in crisis. Whatever the youth may be dealing with—family issues, neglect, abuse, thoughts of suicide or running away—they can text the word SAFE (7233) and their current location to 4HELP (44357). Within seconds, they'll receive the address of the closest Safe Place location and the number for the ACH youth shelter. They will also have the option to text interactively with a mental health professional.

Safe Baby Site Location
Parents of a baby less than 60 days old may leave their child at any Euless Fire Station at any time, no questions asked. The parent has the option of filling out a very short medical history form about the baby for medical reasons only. The parent can place the infant in the arms of someone capable of caring for the child and providing medical attention if needed, without fear of criminal prosecution. The "Baby Moses Law" is the name of the law that allows a parent to hand over a baby to authorized, designated emergency care providers.
Euless Fire Stations are confidential, safe places to surrender your baby and a much better alternative to abandonment. Babies cannot be left at a Fire Station that is not manned.
