Fire Administration

Originally established as a small volunteer organization in 1955, the Euless Fire Department has since grown into a professional department serving a population of approximately 55,000 citizens in an 11.2 square mile urban area.

The Euless Fire Department provides fireemergency medical and specialized rescue and support services from three fire stations and responds to over 5,000 calls for emergency service each year.

In 2018 the Insurance Service Organization (ISO) awarded the Euless Fire Department an ISO Class 1 designation, the highest rating available. Only 67 departments in the state and 373 in the country carry this prestigious rank.

The Euless Fire Department proudly works with our neighboring communities through automatic and mutual aid agreements and participates in a joint effort known as the North East Fire Department Association (NEFDA) representing 14 North Texas Fire Departments.

Fire Administration houses the general executive and fire prevention personnel for the Euless Fire Department including the Fire Chief, Assistant Fire Chief, Division Chief/Fire Marshal, EMS Coordinator and auxiliary staff.

The daily operational functions of the department such as budget development and control, long and short term planning, purchasing, training and similar tasks take place at the administration building.

Fire Administration personnel can assist the public with:

  • Processing open records requests
  • Receiving plans and documents for review and approval
  • Issuing fire reports, inspection reports and permits
