Online Procedure

Euless taxpayers are required to use Localgov to pay Hotel Occupancy Tax on a quarterly basis and submit a Hotel Occupancy Registration form annually. This service will allow you to file and pay your City of Euless Hotel Occupancy taxes and register from the comfort of your home or business, save time, and avoid late fees.

Hotel Occupancy Tax Registration

Owners and operators of all lodging facilities, including short-term rental properties, must complete these steps in the following order:

1. Submit a Hotel Occupancy Registration form
   
   
2. Submit a Short-Term Rental Permit Application (Only applicable to short-term rentals)
   
   
3. Begin filing Hotel Occupancy Taxes on Localgov

After submitting the registration and permit forms, lodging facility owners and operators are required to submit all applicable hotel occupancy taxes in a timely manner as per the law.

Hotel Occupancy Tax Filing

Every person owning, operating, managing, or controlling any lodging facility within City limits must collect the tax imposed by and on behalf of the City of Euless, Texas. These facilities include hotels, motels, tourist homes, houses or courts, lodging houses, inns, rooming houses, and short-term rentals.

These business establishments must file quarterly tax returns by the last day of the month following each quarterly period. Payments must be submitted in full on the due date with no exceptions for weekends or holidays. One tax filing form must be submitted for each establishment location. All taxes, interest, and penalties are to be paid at the time of filing.
