Temporary Animal Shelter

Animal Services is a division of Public Works that aides in the enforcement of animal related ordinances and encourages responsible pet ownership in the community.

Adoptions

Are you looking to adopt an animal from the Euless Animal Shelter?  With the help of the Trinity GAP Club and Euless Shelter Cats, you might be in luck.  Check out the online list of available animals and be sure to review the associated fees for adoptions.

Also even if you don't adopt your pet from the Euless Animal Shelter, be sure to register your pets!

Animal Ordinances

Are you looking to report a violation of the Animal Ordinances or have received a notice of violation?  Do you know what to do if there is excessive barking or other noises in your neighborhood?  It might be time to see what help Animal Services can provide.

Animal Shelter Advisory Board

The standards for the animal shelter and the care of animals are set by the Animal Shelter Advisory Board.  Animal Services enforces those standards of care for pets and other animals in the City of Euless. Our goal is to ensure every animal is responsibly cared for, and to provide assistance and shelter to lost animals.

City staff encourages every pet owner to register their pet with the Euless Animal Services and maintain current vaccinations. An Animal Services Officer is on-call 24 hours a day in case of an emergency.

Report a Lost Pet

If you have a lost pet, the best course of action is to visit the Euless Animal Shelter. If your pet is missing and you cannot visit the shelter, fill out the Lost Pet Form. When a form is submitted, Animal Services staff will check animal services for the lost pet. Completing the form does not guarantee a pet will be found. You may also contact Euless Animal Services at 817-685-1594.

Wildlife

As development began to encroach upon native areas, wildlife and people are brought closer together. Of course, a natural result of that encroachment has been an increase in animal sightings by humans in developed areas.

Animal Services can offer advice and help with animal encounters, such as providing information on preventing the spread of rabies.
