The Euless Animal Shelter opened to reduced occupancy on June 1. Adoptions will be available by appointment only by calling 817-685-1594. Be prepared to answer screening questions when you make the appointment. If you feel sick, please stay home. Shelter access will be restricted to the lobby. Animal service calls will be ranked on a priority basis. All barking dog and nuisance complaints will be handled over the phone or via email rather than in person. Thank you for helping us continue to provide quality animal services to our community, in a safe environment.
Animal Services enforces City regulations regarding pets and other animals for the City of Euless. The City's goal is to ensure every animal is responsibly cared for, and to provide shelter and assistance to lost animals. City staff encourages every pet owner to register their pet with the Euless Animal Services and maintain current vaccinations. An Animal Services Officer is on-call 24 hours a day in case of an emergency.
Many of our residents enjoy visiting the Euless Dog Park. The three-acre dog park features off leash areas for both large and small dogs with multiple play features, lights and covered park benches for patrons.
The standards for the animal shelter and the care of animals are set by the Animal Shelter Advisory Board.
