The Environmental Collection Center is temporarily closed. They tentatively plan to reopen on June 18. Please check back for updates.
Hazardous materials include old paint, pesticides, used oil and other automotive fluids, household cleaners, solvents, large batteries and pesticides. These items are not collected by the curbside garbage and recycling service. However, residents do have options to properly dispose of this type of waste. Residents may dispose of these materials by taking them to the Environmental Collection Center or to a "Crud Day" collection event.
Plan to show proof of Euless residency (drivers license and water bill) at all collection sites. Residents do not have to pay to drop off materials. However, the City of Euless is charged $50 for each car load. Please make sure you are maximizing your delivery.
Environmental Collection Center
Throughout the year, Euless residents may take leftover household chemicals to the ECC. Please visit their website for a list of acceptable and not acceptable items. The Environmental Collection Center (ECC) is located at 6400 Bridge Street, Fort Worth.
Hours of Operation
Thursdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Hazardous Material Collection Day (Crud Day)
The Crud Cruiser mobile collection trailer travels to Euless twice a year to help residents responsibly dispose of their household chemical wastes. Collection events are normally held on a Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Euless City Hall Complex, 201 N. Ector Dr. during the spring and fall unless otherwise specified.
The 2020 Hazardous Material (Crud) Collection Day is November 7.
The April 4 Crud Day has been cancelled. Residents may still take hazardous waste to the Environmental Collection Center.
United Electronic Recycling provides recycling for small electronic appliances onsite at each Hazardous Material Collection Day. In addition, they have a free citizen drop off at their business location. Please see the list of accepted electronic waste for more information.
Texas law now requires television and computer-equipment manufacturers to offer opportunities for consumers to recycle these electronics. Please visit TexasRecyclesTVs.org or TexasRecyclesComputers.org for more information.

Safely Dispose of Unwanted Medication
Do you have old medicine taking up space in your cabinets? Has it been there for years because you don't know what to do with it? Unused medication should be disposed of safely. Medication should never be flushed down the drain.
Euless has a MedReturn drug collection unit located in the lobby of the Police Department. Safely dispose of all expired, unwanted or unused medications in the unit. You may drop off prescription and over-the-counter medications anonymously. Intravenous solutions, injectables and syringes will not be accepted due to potential hazard posed by blood borne pathogens.
The MedReturn unit is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Euless Police Station at 1102 W. Euless Blvd.
In addition, Super Value Pharmacy will take unwanted, over-the-counter and prescription drugs all year.
