Purpose

To promote parks, library services and economic development within the City in order to eliminate unemployment and underemployment and to promote and encourage employment and the public welfare of, for and on behalf of the City.

Duties

To develop, implement, provide and finance projects under the Development Corporation Act of 1979, as amended. 

To promote parks, library services and economic development within the City, subject to the restrictions imposed by law and the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws.

Membership

The Corporation consists of seven directors, each of whom is appointed by the City Council. Four places are designated for Council Member Directors and three places are designated for Citizen Member Directors. Members will serve a two-year term.

Meetings

The Euless Development Corporation meets on an as-needed basis.
