To serve as a review board for civil service system rules, regulations, policies, complaints and hearings.

To review civil service rules and regulations.
Recommend modifications, amendments, and changes of the rules and regulations, with advice of the City Manager.
To hear employee grievances and appeals.

Members of the Civil Service Commission consist of three Euless citizens, whose terms run for three years; with one member's term expiring per year.

The Commission meets on an as-needed basis.
