The City of Euless has fourteen Boards and Commissions established by the City Charter, City Council, or State Law. Board members are appointed by the City Council for two or three-year terms, with certain boards requiring an Oath of Office and a Statement of Appointed Official to affirm ethical behavior.

Applying

The City Secretary administers the appointment process for volunteer service on boards, commissions, and committees. Applications are accepted during the "call for applications" period, typically in the third/fourth quarter of each year, for boards, commissions, or committees with current openings. The City Council reviews applications and may conduct interviews. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance by letter.  Historical Preservation Committee:  Applications are accepted year-round.

• Must commit to the required volunteer time as a member or alternate
  
  
• Must conduct themselves to avoid actual and potential conflicts of interest
