Do you own a house that needs exterior work that is beyond your ability to repair? If so, then apply for the Community Powered Revitalization (CPR) program. This program is a joint effort between 6 Stones, the cities of Hurst, Euless, Bedford, Grapevine, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and churches to help struggling homeowners make necessary home repairs. The CPR program provides help to homeowners who are in the greatest need of assistance and are unable to perform the necessary work themselves.
Each Fall and Spring, CPR brings volunteers together to work on houses of those in need. Homeowners must meet income qualifications and at least one of the following: be 62 or older, a veteran or the spouse of a veteran, disabled, handicapped, or a single parent with minor children at home. If selected, volunteers come to your home and do exterior work, such as scraping, painting, clean up, and yard work.
The next CPR event is October 16 and 17, so get your applications in today. For an application and to determine if you are eligible for this program, please visit www.eulesstx.gov/cpr or call 817-685-1600.
