If a large-scale disaster occurred, would you know what to do? The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) initiative prepares citizens to care for themselves and their families in case of a disaster. This free, nine-week course teaches citizens basic emergency response skills such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization and disaster medical operations. Using the training learned in this class, CERT members can assist others in their neighborhood or workplace until first responders can arrive to the scene.
The class is open to anyone who lives or works in Euless, and is at least 18 years old. If interested, please call 817-685-1600 or fill out the Fire Program Interest Card at www.eulesstx.gov/cert.
