The Mary Lib Saleh Euless Public Library was named after Mayor Saleh who was a city servant from 1989-2014. She began as a City Council Member and then was elected Mayor for 21 years. She served on both the Parks and Library Boards and is a proponent of public art and historical preservation. She was instrumental in the research and due diligence performed when the existing library was being built. She has always had a great passion for our library in particular and was one of the founding members of the Euless Library Foundation. There is no building more appropriate to name after her that will continue to provide joy to people of all ages for years to come.
