Neighborhood Watch operates to educate participants in principles of crime deterrence. The program depends on a communication network, organized with three levels participants: The Residents, Block Captains and Local Law Enforcement Representatives.
By reducing opportunities for crime, looking out for your neighbors and acting as extra eyes and ears for the Police Department, you as a member of a Neighborhood Watch group, can improve the quality of life in your community.
Remember! Neighborhood Watch groups are not vigilantes and do not assume the role of the Police. They only ask citizens to be alert, observant, caring; and to serve as extra eyes and ears for the Police Department...for their own protection.
