FREE MURDER MYSTERY AUTHOR EVENT AT EULESS LIBRARY

EULESS, TEXAS— Love a good mystery? Fascinated by true crime? Don’t miss a very special free author event at the Euless Public Library. Murder in Texas – Fact & Fiction will feature four Texas authors that write either mysteries or about true crime in Texas. The panel will convene at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19 at the Euless Public Library, 201 N. Ector.

  • Bill Crider – author of the very popular Sheriff Dan Rhoades mysteries, the most recent of which is A Mammoth Murder.
  • Harry Hunsicker – author of The Next Time You Die and Still River featuring private investigator Lee Henry Oswald.
  • Carlton Stowers – author of over two dozen books including To the Last Breath and Careless Whispers, both of which were winners of the Mystery Writers of America Edgar Allen Poe Award as the Best Fact Crime Book of the Year.
  • Kathryn Casey – author of She Wanted It All: A True Story of Sex, Murder and a Millionaire.
  • Mike Cochran – award-winning Associated Press veteran will be the moderator for the evening. He is well known for writing about true crime for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and is the author of Texas vs. Davis, the infamous Cullen Davis murder case.
