Stage 1 Watering Restrictions
Have Been Lifted
The City of Euless was notified by Tarrant Regional Water District yesterday that mandatory Stage 1 Two-Day Watering Restrictions will be terminated. In keeping with a consistent message throughout the region, the City of Euless will follow the recommendations of TRWD and TRA and lift the Mandatory Stage 1 Watering Restrictions on May 4. Watering between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. is still prohibited.
We will monitor lake levels and urge residents to maintain conservation practices, including voluntary twice a week watering. Euless has a tiered water rate that encourages water conservation and we will continue to educate our residents on ways to reduce water consumption indoors and outdoors.
As a part of that education, the City of Euless will host a Water Forum at 7 p.m. on June 7 at Euless City Hall, 201 N. Ector Dr. Our two speakers will discuss Water Conservation and What Plants Grow Well in North Texas Climate. This forum is free and open to anyone that would like to attend.
