Midway Recreation Center Renovation Updates
The new and improved Fitness Center inside the Midway Recreation Center opened at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, August 21. The 5,000 square foot fitness center hosts 10 treadmills, 5 elliptical machines, 8 bikes and 2 stair steppers as well as weight machines and free weights. In addition, five flat panel televisions will distract you from your tough workout in cool air conditioned facilities.
The senior center is still due to come on-line sometime in late Nov/early Dec. That portion of the project is also starting to take shape and you can get a good visual of how it's laid out and how big that portion will be as well.
