The E-Flat Porch Band is a small band with a big sound.
The band started on a porch in McKinney, Texas. Influenced by folk, blues, early country songwriters, jazz and swing standards, the band creatively found their own original sound that they consider "porch music." They entertain with up to eight instruments at once while harmonizing vocals. Instruments include the acoustic bass, harmonica, cymbal, and a drum-like instrument of their own design made out of a wooden soda pop box.
