The City of Euless is the proud owner of an artifact from the World Trade Center. The artifact is a 12-foot long, 6,000-pound steel beam that is a relic from the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. This artifact will be displayed in front of the Euless Fire Administration Building as a memorial to the thousands killed that tragic day. A ceremony was held on Sunday, September 11, 2011 commemorating the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on our nation on September 11, 2001.
