Youth Services

The Youth Services Department offers a variety of services and programs for youth, from toddlers to young adults. We are here to help you with your needs, from finding information for a school report to finding a good book to read. Come see us!

Preschool Classes

  • Baby Bounce
    Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.

    It’s never too early to introduce babies to books, stories, and movement. Give your baby a great start with pre-literacy skills, and meet other new parents as well.

  • Toddler Time
    (12 – 30 months)
    Thursday at 10:30 a.m.

    Toddlers learn valuable pre-literacy skills through stories, crafts, and movement.

  • StoryPalooza
    (Ages 3 and Up)
    Tuesday at 11 a.m., Wednesday at 11 a.m., Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

    Preschoolers learn valuable school-readiness skills through stories, crafts, and movement..

  • Sensory Seekers
    (Infants, Toddlers & Preschoolers)
    Monday at 10:30 a.m.

    Infants, toddlers, and preschoolers are all about touching, seeing, hearing, and exploring everything new in their world. Help your child experience and learn new things through our sensory exploration bins.

  • Improvination
    (Infants, Toddlers & Preschoolers)
    Friday at 10:30 a.m.

    Help develop your child’s literacy skills through imaginative play. We provide props and settings, you and your child provide the imagination.

Elementary Activities

  • Movie Matinee
    (K-6th grade)
    Monday at 4 p.m.

    Come watch a movie with your family & friends.

  • Brain-STEM
    (K-4th grade)
    Tuesday at 4 p.m.

    STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) based fun and learning!

  • Tween X-Treme
    (5th & 6th grade)
    Tuesday at 4 p.m.

    Fun activities for 5th & 6th grade students only. You never know what we have planned!

  • Mish-Mash
    (K-6th grade)
    Wednesday at 4 p.m.

    A come & go program with different activities each week. Always something fun going on!

  • Read to Sucha
    (K-6th grade)
    Thursday at 7 p.m.

    Come practice your reading skills with licensed therapy dog Sucha. She loves kids and would love to meet you!


  • Teen Rumble
    (7th-12th grade)
    Thursday at 4 p.m.

  • The Bubble
    (7th-12th grade)
    Monday - Friday after school

    Teens only! Laptops, games, and other activities.

  • Volunteer Opportunities
    (7th-12th grade)
    Monday - Friday after school

    Volunteers are needed all year long. Complete an application, have it signed by a parent and turn it in to the Youth Desk.
