Job Summary:
Maintains grounds by operating tree chipper, hand tools (including shovels, axes, etc.), greens mowers, tee mowers, fly mowers and others, chain saws, and weed eaters. Drives utility vehicle, or other vehicles as required. Waters greens, tees, and other grassed and landscaped areas.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 16 years of age. Must be able to operate small equipment, lift up to 90 lbs., and willing to work in all weather conditions, including excessive heat, cold, and precipitation.
Knowledge of golf course operations or the game of golf preferred, but not required.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Operates mowers; performs light maintenance on all equipment in use. Mows and trims all areas maintained on the golf course. Edges all areas as needed. Assists in maintaining flower beds and horticulture areas, as well as trimming trees. Maintains and cleans all golf course grounds, removes trash and cleans all areas of golf course and club house. Uses chipper for disposal of limbs and trees. Operates chain saws, blowers, edgers, hedge trimmers, leaf vacuum, greens mowers, tee mowers, trap rake, weed eater, fly mower, and any other equipment as needed. Waters greens and waters other areas as directed.
