Job Summary:
The City of Euless Public Works Department maintains and improves the quality of living for residents by managing the maintenance of streets, sewer and water services. This essential department provides the following services: Street Maintenance, Overlay and Reconstruction of City Streets and Curbs, Water and Sewer System Maintenance, Animal Services Division, Capital Improvement Project Mgmt and Signage. Employee expected to perform general labor, maintenance, and repair jobs in one or more of the areas listed above.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Education or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years of age with current Texas operator's license and good driving record. Must have or be able to obtain a Class "B" CDL within six (6) months of hire date. Must be available for 24-hour re-call. Must be able to perform heavy lifting tasks and perform strenuous physical labor in extreme weather conditions. Must be able to pass drug and background screening.
Knowledge, Abilities, And Skills:
Knowledge and ability to perform general labor maintenance and repair jobs in the Public Works Department.
