Salary: $8 per hour
Minimum Requirements:
Must be 18 years old. High School diploma or recognized equivalent is preferred, but not required. Must have a valid TX Driver's license. Must pass a drug test and physical assessment.
Skills:
Must be able to successfully interface with the public while controlling access to Midway Recreation Center and its facilities.
Responsibilities:
Monitors all activities of the center. Provides patrons information about programs. Admits members and guests into center in accordance with the "Membership Policy"; checks proof of membership of each person seeking to use facility, and verifies memberships are current and valid. Inspects fitness equipment daily; documents and reports malfunctioning equipment. Cleans and maintains center including, but not limited to floors, windows, doors, TVs, front desk, mirrors, towels, re-fills sanitary spray bottles, etc. Assists in resolving participant complaints by recording complaints and reporting them to Recreation Center Supervisor. Completes facility reports, incident reports, and other required reports in accordance with policy guidelines. Stands for extended periods of time while performing daily duties such as checking-in patrons, bends and walks while distributing supplies, and performing cleaning. Must maintain regular attendance.
