7:00 - 8:30 am and 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. daily on school days
Job Summary:
To provide for the safe crossing of school children at designated school crosswalks throughout the City of Euless. This individual will serve on an "as-needed" basis in the absence of another school crossing guard.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be eighteen (18) years of age, English speaking, legal United States resident, must have good vision, and be able to stand or walk for long periods of time. No prior convictions of any felony or misdemeanor of Grade "A" or "B". No prior history of drug abuse. No prior history of child abuse. Must be able to work a split shift.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be on duty at assigned station during hours specified by the Patrol Division commander of the Euless Police Department. Must be ready to begin work on time and never leave post early. Be familiar with and adhere to the City of Euless Adult School Crossing Guard Guidelines. Responsible for controlling safe crossing of school children at designated crosswalk locations throughout the City of Euless.
