Job Summary:
Responsible for the overall operation of Parks at Texas Star in the absence of General Manager and/or Coordinator.
Job Scope:
While on duty, supervises gate staff, proshop cashier/operation, concession stand staff/operation, umpires, maintenance staff, league and/or tournament staff/operation, volunteers and community services workers. Also responsible for handling protests, communications with participants and/or patrons and overall safety of participants and /or patrons while on duty.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Must be 21 years of age, have excellent communication skills and be able to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions. Must have good public/employee relations and problem solving skills. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in extreme temperatures. Must be able to work additional hours, evenings, and weekends due to the nature of paticular programs. Must have a valid Texas Drivers license. Must have or be able to obtain a City of Euless Food Handler's Certification within two (2) weeks of employment. Must have or be able to obtain TABC Certification.
Principal Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Supervises collection, recording and depositing of gate admission, league and tournament fees as well as daily pro shop and concession sales. Responsible for securing facility at the end of each business day to include locking all doors, activating alarm system, clearing all persons and/or vehicles from the parking lot, securing all gates to park and making sure all field lights, scoreboards, and necessary equipment is turned off. Assists with daily checks on euqipment, scheduling of part-time staff assignments, field preparation and also conducts routine safety check around facility. Reports maintenance issues to supervisor daily.
