Job Summary:
Provides general support services for the Euless Police Department to include maintenance of jail operations and recordkeeping functions. Responsible for limited supervision of jail activities and assists with the recordkeeping of the department.

Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school education or GED. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must have no prior convictions of a felony, no convictions of Class A in the past 12 months, no convictions of Class B in the past 6 months and be able to pass a polygraph examination. Must be able to work shifts and be available for emergency callout 24 hours a day. Must be able to pass an entrance examination. Must possess current valid TX driver's license. Must be able to perform all duties under stressful conditions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Meets and communicates with general public. Completes reports. Answers telephone. Enters/retrieves data from computer. Maintains security in jail; fingerprints/photographs prisoners. Receives money and completes paperwork. Attends to personal needs of prisoners. Transfers prisoners. Performs general housekeeping duties and directs prisoners activity. Assists with arraignments, maintains jail log, operates city vehicles; processes and searches incoming prisoners. Performs other job related duties as may be assigned by supervisors.
