Construction Information

The City of Euless has a desire to make your construction projects flow as smoothly as possible. To help insure that result, plans must be submitted and all proper registrations, permits and approvals granted prior to any construction project starting. A specific inspector from the Fire Marshal's Office will be assigned to your project upon submittal of plans, and will be identified in the plan review correspondence you receive from our office. Should you need information and an inspector is not yet assigned, please call our office at 817-685-1600 for assistance.

Code and Ordinances

The Codes and Ordinances Link provides an online method to access the Euless Codes and Ordinances. This information is provided to assist you but SHOULD NOT be taken as a final authority. The information provided through this link will list the City Ordinances and Amendments to the Codes. It does not contain the full text of the various Codes, Standards and Interpretive information in use in the City of Euless. The Fire Department currently uses the 2003 International Codes. Common Standards include the published standards of the National Fire Protection Association, the U.S. Gypsum Association, Petroleum Institute, Underwriters Laboratory and others. Permits and Fees

The City of Euless utilizes two different permit fee schedules. One is for new construction, and the other is for renewable annual permits. The fee schedules posted are for information only and should not be used as the sole basis for determining the fees associated with your project or permit. Please verify all amounts with our office, especially on new construction permits.

To determine construction permit fees, determine the dollar value of your project, and refer to the appropriate dollar value on the referred chart. From the chart, determine the base permit fee and add 65% to the permit fee as a plan review fee. The combination of the two fees will provide a very close estimate of your permit cost. Construction permits must be paid in advance at the time plans are submitted by check, money order or exact cash. No change is kept on premises.

To determine annual permit fees, refer to the appropriate permit type and find the dollar amount.
