Fire Administration is located at 201 N. Ector, in the northernmost building of the Municipal campus. Fire administration houses the general administrative and fire prevention offices for the City. The Fire Chief, Emergency Medical Services Division Chief, Operations Division Chief and the Fire Marshal and his staff are officed in this building. Fire Administration is responsible for the daily operations of the department. This includes all business components of operating the department such as budget development and control, long and short term planning, purchasing, training and similar functions.

The following services are routinely conducted through the fire administration offices:

  • Open records requests
  • Conducting site assessments for properties
  • Obtaining fire reports
  • Assistance in obtaining emergency medical reports
  • Obtaining inspection reports
  • Obtaining permits
  • Submission of plans and documents for review and approval
