Mission Euless Revitalization
In an unprecedented effort of teamwork and volunteerism, nearly 500 volunteers pledged to help revitalize 15 homes over two days through the Euless Revitalization program. On June 19 and 20, 6 Stones Ministries, DW Redo and the City of Euless partnered with local churches and businesses to make a dramatic impact in our city.
The newly formed 6 Stones Mission Network, a nonprofit ministry focusing on compassion ministries to the community, provided funding and DW Redo, a local home remodeling company, provided project planning and volunteer coordination.
The quality of life in Euless has been greatly improved through the Euless Revitalization program. In the same way that decline can begin to infect a community, so can pride of ownership inspire a community. The program has had an incredible trickledown effect in Euless neighborhoods.
We are fortunate to tap into some of the most dedicated and hardworking volunteers in Texas and the contribution they make to Euless is exceptional. Volunteers of all ages, skill levels and knowledge were able to lend their neighbors a much needed helping hand with their homes. Numerous homes have already been renovated and restored within our city with remarkable results and this program will only continue to grow. We’re changing lives one house at a time.
