Euless residents are required to mow and maintain their property not only from an aesthetic point of view, but also for health and safety reasons. Therefore, Euless enforces a city ordinance that prohibits grass and weeds from exceeding 12 inches in height.
If you receive a notice of violation, you have 10 days to resolve the problem. Otherwise, the city will place a lien on your property for the cost of having a contractor mow.
Unmaintained lawns and vacant lots attract rodents and mosquitoes. They can also become a fire hazard if the high grass becomes dry.
