New Guidelines for Solid Waste

The City of Euless has continued solid waste service with Allied Waste Services for garbage disposal and Community Waste Disposal for recycling. The City of Euless' new guidelines for solid waste collection will begin in March.

Euless has renewed for five years with a rate increase of $1.51 per month. The new rate remains one of the lowest in the region. Customers will see the rate adjustment reflected on the April billing statements. Seniors (age 65 and up) and residents who are permanently disabled will continue to receive a $0.49 discount off the residential rate.

Residents north of Harwood will continue to have solid waste pick up on Tuesdays and Fridays with recycling days changing slightly. Those living south of Harwood will have Monday and Thursday solid waste pick up days. Please see the map on the second page for more detailed information in specific neighborhoods.

Residents will continue to receive "take all" service twice a week and curbside recycling once a week. "Take all" service means bulky items, such as brush, furniture and household appliances will be collected with the regular garbage.

With these new guidelines, an additional bulky waste service has been added. Up to ten cubic yards of acceptable waste may be dropped off on Saturdays at the Allied Waste Services Transfer Station located at 6200 Elliott Reeder Road in Fort Worth up to four times a year. The transfer station is open to residential customers each Saturday from noon - 4 p.m. Proof of residency such as a current water bill or valid driver's license is required. This service does not include the disposal of hazardous waste or non-compactable waste.
