Texas Star Undergoing Renovation
Renovations began at Texas Star Conference Centre in February. The expansion on the south side of the building is now complete, which included the addition of conference rooms to allow for capacity of 300 guests. Two breakout/ meeting rooms have been added, along with a full-sized catering kitchen. Improved audiovisual equipment will be installed throughout the conference centre including mounted projectors and drop down screens.
The Raven's Grille has now moved to the southern end of the building into their new large breakout room. The chef's have relocated into the catering kitchen during the renovation of the Grille. The current kitchen will be increased to more than one and a half times its current size and the current patio will be enclosed with casing windows which will give capability of opening the windows during nice weather. Two new patio areas will be added to the west side of the building. One will be for the conference guests and one is for the Raven's Grille outdoor dining. North side construction should be completed around March 2009.
The changes are much anticipated by all who use Texas Star and will allow us to continue to provide great service in a quality facility to our existing and new clients.
