Hazardous Materials

While hazardmous materials are not collected by the curbside garbage and recycling service, residents do have options to dispose of these types of waste. Residents may dispose of these materials by taking them to the Environmental Collection Center or to a collection event.

Old paint, pesticides, used oil and other automotive fluids, household cleaners, medicines, make-up, solvents, batteries, and pesticides are all examples of household chemicals that could be hazardous to the environment if disposed of improperly.

Residents need to show proof of Euless residency at all collection sites. A current utility bill is preferred. Residents do not have to pay to drop off materials. However, the City of Euless is assessed a fee of $47 for each household drop off. Please make sure you are maximizing your delivery.

Environmental Collection Center

Throughout the year, Euless residents may take leftover household chemicals to the Environmental Collection Center (ECC) at 6400 Bridge Street. It is open to the public on Thursdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Refer to their website for a list of acceptable and not acceptable items.

Hazardous Material Collection Day

The Crud Cruiser mobile collection trailer travels to Euless twice a year to help residents responsibly dispose of their household chemical wastes. Collection events are normally held on a Saturday from 9 - 11 a.m. during the spring and fall unless otherwise specified.

Electronic Waste

The City of Euless has partnered with Techway Services. to provide recycling for small electronic appliances throughout the year. They are onsite at each Hazardous Materials Collection Day as well as available by appointment for individual drop off of materials.
