March Spring Blitz

This March Spring Blitz weekend was amazing! 622 volunteers logged over 3000 volunteer hours to make repairs to 16 homes in just 2 days!
Siding was installed, roofs were repaired, homes were painted, fences were fixed, yards were cleaned, but more importantly; friends were made, lives were impacted, and hope was restored to struggling families!
Thank you to everyone who volunteered to help our less fortunate citizens with their urgent needs. We couldn’t have pulled off such a large event without the amazing support of our Euless employees!
Thanks for all you do,
Ken Rawlinson

Mission ER
WHAT IS MISSION ER?
On March 12 and 13, Six Stones Ministries and the City of Euless will partner with local churches and businesses to make a dramatic impact in our city. The goal is to help struggling homeowners make necessary repairs to their homes using volunteers from our own community and we need your help!
WHAT TYPE OF WORK WILL VOLUNTEERS BE DOING?
There will be a variety of different tasks available for volunteers to complete including painting, landscaping, cleaning, light construction, etc. We will match your skills to an appropriate task so don't worry, even if you have never used a hammer we will have an opportunity for you to help.
HOW DO WE SIGN UP?
Please visit the signup form for volunteers.
WHERE/WHEN WILL WE MEET?
On March 12 and 13 volunteers will meet at Campus West on Industrial Blvd at 8:00 a.m. to register. Plenty of parking will be available. Volunteers will then pose for a group picture and carpool over to their respective projects.
WHAT DO WE NEED TO BRING?
You are welcome and encouraged to bring hand tools and landscape equipment on the day of the project. Prior to the workday an email will be sent to all of the volunteers letting them know what specific equipment will be needed. Examples of items used in the past include; hammers, pry bars, cutting shears, rakes, etc. It is also a good idea to bring a good pair of work gloves.
The ER Committee is looking forward to working with you! Thank you in advance for your support, we couldn't make this happen without you.
